Jenn and Rob had perfect weather for their outdoor Spring ceremony at their family friend’s wedding venue, Sunny D. Farms.
I love getting to weddings early in the day to capture the getting ready moments leading up to the ceremony. Girls getting ready, guys hanging out. Sharing a little pre-ceremony toast with toasted with the wedding party. All these moments make great photos.
Although these two didn’t see each other before the ceremony, they did have a “first touch” and exchanged love letters they prepared for one another. We also had plenty of time for pre-ceremony portraits... which I will always appreciate!
Veil belonged to her mother, Debbie, and was also worn by her sister-in-law, Sandy, at her brother’s wedding. Jenn wanted to do something special with the veil and we got this fun photo!
The couple exchanged vows in the outdoor ceremony area with their friends and family present.
After the ceremony was over, the lighting was just right to head down to the pecan tree orchard for formal bridal party portraits.
Best man’s speech was one of the best toasts I’d ever heard, complete with a story on the day he and Rob saw a pterodactyl while fishing on the lake. Following toasts, guests celebrated into the night dancing under the lights. Great entertainment by the kiddos.
Ended the night leaving their reception by walking through grand sparkler exit to their getaway car!
